About Me
I am a junior pre-medical student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I am pursuing a double major in Biology and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. I have a strong interest in science and medicine, and I hope to pursue a career in emergency medicine. I have always enjoyed learning about science and finding ways to make challenging subjects easier to understand. This year, I am excited to teach Algebra 2 and Introduction to Chemistry. I enjoy working with students and helping them build confidence in subjects that can sometimes feel intimidating. My goal as a teacher is not only to help students understand the material, but also to help them develop problem-solving skills and an appreciation for how math and science apply to the world around them. Outside of teaching, I will be working as an EMT with First Choice Medical Transport and volunteering with ACERIP as an EMT instructor for new students. These experiences allow me to combine my interests in medicine and education while continuing to learn and develop my own skills. I am passionate about both medicine and teaching, and I look forward to sharing that enthusiasm with my students this year. I hope to create a classroom environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing a genuine interest in the subjects they are learning.
