Terms of Use

These Terms of Use describe the conditions for using the Phi Learning website and invited accounts. Account activation does not by itself document acceptance of these Terms or any parental privacy consent. Before an invited account is bound to service terms, Phi Learning will present the applicable version and require an affirmative acceptance that is recorded. Any collection from a child under 13 requires a separate direct parent notice and verifiable parental consent where COPPA applies.

• Provide accurate information and use only an account you are authorized to access.
• Keep passwords, recovery links, and account access private.
• Promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
• Do not bypass role restrictions, impersonate another person, or share access in a way that exposes private information.

You may not use the service to:

• Break the law, threaten or harass others, or interfere with learning or service operations.
• Upload malware, probe security controls, scrape private data, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Post content you do not have the right to use or content that violates another person's privacy or intellectual property.
• Upload Social Security numbers, full payment card data, medical or therapy records, precise location, government identity documents, or similar highly sensitive information. Phi Learning does not currently provide an approved feature for these categories.

Phi Learning and its licensors retain rights in the site, curriculum, branding, and original materials. You may use provided materials only for the personal, family, or educational purpose for which access was granted, unless a separate agreement permits more.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Phi Learning a limited permission to host, copy, display, and process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and administer the service. You represent that you have the right to submit the content.

Phi Learning works to provide useful, age-appropriate educational support, but does not guarantee a particular grade, test score, admission result, credential, or learning outcome. Families should review course information and decide whether it fits their educational needs.

Artificial intelligence or automated tools, if used in a feature, may produce errors and must not replace appropriate human review for consequential educational or administrative decisions.

Fees, payment timing, schedules, cancellations, refunds, and any recurring service terms are governed by the applicable enrollment form, invoice, or separate written service agreement. These website terms do not create an automatic renewal by themselves. If recurring billing is offered, its material terms must be presented before enrollment or purchase. If a service automatically renews, the enrollment agreement will clearly disclose the renewal and cancellation terms. Phi Learning will provide any advance renewal and term-change notices required by North Carolina law.

The member portal includes prototype workflows for agreements, invoices, and event responses. Recording a response in the portal is not, by itself, a legally sufficient electronic signature. The workflow does not verify the identity of the person operating an account and has not been reviewed by counsel. Where a signature matters, Phi Learning will use a separate written agreement until the review is complete.

Invoices shown in the portal are records of amounts billed and payments Phi Learning has recorded manually. They are not a payment page. Phi Learning does not process online card payments through this website and will never request a card number, card security code, or bank credential through the member portal or by email. Payment arrangements are made separately.

An event response is recorded for a household, not for an individual learner. Capacity, waitlists, and any linked consent document are described on the event. Phi Learning may need a completed consent document before a learner participates.

We may change, interrupt, suspend, or end a feature when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or service operations. We may restrict an account that violates these terms or creates a safety or security risk.

The service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase and Vercel. Their systems and terms may affect availability. Links to other websites do not mean Phi Learning endorses or controls those websites.

To the extent permitted by law, the site and digital services are provided as available. Phi Learning does not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Phi Learning is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Any responsibility that cannot be excluded remains subject to applicable law and any separate signed agreement.

These terms are governed by North Carolina law, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Contact us first so we have a reasonable opportunity to address a concern.

We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. We will obtain affirmative agreement when required by law or by the nature of the change.
