What we currently use
The current Phi Learning site uses cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, theme preferences, and restricted super-administrator preview tools. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies.
| Technology | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase session cookies | Sign-in, session continuity, and account security. Cookie names may vary by configuration. | Session-based or according to the authenticated session. |
phi-theme | Remembers the selected light or dark appearance. | Up to one year. |
phi-developer-mode and phi-view-as | Supports restricted role-preview tools for authorized super administrators. | Up to eight hours. |
| Local browser storage | Also remembers the theme preference on that browser. Local storage is not a cookie. | Until cleared or replaced. |
Why there is no tracking consent banner
The current site does not ask for opt-in tracking consent because it does not use analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies. If Phi Learning adds nonessential tracking in the future, this notice and any required choices will be updated before that tracking is enabled.
This statement concerns nonessential tracking choices only. It is not parental consent to collect a child's personal information. If Phi Learning later collects personal information online from a child under 13, it will provide direct parent notice and obtain any required verifiable parental consent before collection.
Your browser controls
Most browsers let you inspect, block, or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking authentication or security cookies can prevent sign-in and private account features from working. Clearing the theme preference may return the site to its default appearance.
Browser settings differ by product and device. Use your browser's privacy or site-data controls for current instructions.
Updates to this notice
This notice will be updated when the site's use of cookies or browser storage changes. The date at the top identifies the latest published version.
